A run is one visibility scan, one AI-written page, or one batch of AI fix suggestions. Crawling your site, rule-based fixes and pages you write yourself and hand over through the MCP server do not use runs.
What bring-your-own-keys costs in practice
GEOHATS never resells AI usage. Each scan and each page is a call to your own provider account, billed by the provider. Before every scan the app shows an estimate; afterwards the real cost of each call is logged per site. These are the per-question estimates the app uses, with web search on and a low-cost scan model:

Worked examples for one website, using those estimates (provider prices change, so treat them as ballpark figures):
- Monthly check: 30 buyer questions on all five assistants once a month is about $4.17 a month. GEOHATS suggests 30 to 38 questions when you add a site; you can pause any of them.
- Weekly check: the same scan every week is about $18 a month.
- Pages: an article, comparison or statistics page cost roughly $0.20 to $0.50 each in our own test runs, including live web research. Five pages a month is about $1 to $2.50.
- Site optimizer: the crawl and its checks use no AI and are free. AI fix suggestions (titles, meta descriptions, alt text, internal links) are one model call per batch.

One-time price vs monthly AI visibility tools
Most AI visibility tools are monthly subscriptions that include the AI query costs in the price. GEOHATS charges once and you pay the AI providers directly. When a subscription is the better deal

Pricing FAQ
Is GEOHATS really a one-time payment?
Yes. You pay once ($47, $97 or $249 today, depending on how many websites you run) and keep access for as long as GEOHATS runs, including future updates to the self-serve tool. There is no monthly GEOHATS fee. Your only ongoing cost is what your own AI providers charge you for the scans and pages you run.
Why does the price go up?
It is a founding-price ladder. Every tier rises by $20 after each batch of 5 licenses sold, and the price you pay is locked for you. The count is based on real redeemed licenses, not a countdown timer.
What do I pay the AI providers?
Before each scan the app estimates the cost from the number of questions and the engines you picked: roughly $0.012 (Grok) to $0.045 (Gemini) per question per engine, about $0.14 per question for all five. A 30-question scan on all five engines comes to about $4.17. Pages cost roughly $0.20 to $0.50 each in our own runs. Crawling your site with the site optimizer uses no AI and costs nothing.
Which API keys do I need?
At least one AI provider key. Each engine you track needs its own provider's key: OpenAI for ChatGPT, Anthropic for Claude, Perplexity, Google Gemini and xAI for Grok. Connect an Anthropic key if you want Claude to write your pages. Google AI Overviews tracking is optional and needs a SerpAPI key.
What is a run, and can I run out?
One run is one visibility scan, one AI-written page, or one batch of AI fix suggestions. The monthly limits (200, 800 and 4000 runs) are there to stop abuse. Since you pay the AI costs yourself, most people never get close.
Is there a free trial or a refund?

Can I move to a bigger tier later?
Yes. Contact support from your dashboard and we will move your account to the tier with more websites. There is no self-serve upgrade button yet.
