About

Who builds GEOHATS, and how we work

GEOHATS is a generative engine optimization (GEO) tool. It tracks how AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Grok) answer the questions your buyers actually ask, shows which competitors get cited instead of you, then writes and publishes the pages that win those citations. One-time pricing, your own AI keys.

The founder

GEOHATS is built by Daniel Borodin, an indie founder who builds and operates his own products end to end. Daniel writes the product, runs the GEO loop on GEOHATS itself, and publishes the results in public - the blog is the same pipeline customers use, pointed at our own domain. You can reach him on X at @danielborodin_ , on YouTube (where he documents the GEO method in public, including the "How I’d make [X] show up in ChatGPT" series), or via hello@geohats.com.

How the content is produced

Every guide on the blog follows the same rules our product enforces for customers: every competitor price and feature claim is checked on the vendor’s own site and date-stamped, every statistic links to its primary source, and wherever GEOHATS appears in a comparison we disclose that it is our product and list its real cons. Reviews that are not based on hands-on use say so explicitly. Pages carry a visible last-updated date that matches their structured data.

Two ways to work with us

The self-serve tool is a one-time purchase ($47 / $97 / $249) where you run the loop on your own AI keys - no guarantees, honest tracking, typical results in 2 to 8 weeks. The done-for-you service is a separate, contracted engagement where we do the work and back it with a 90-day citation guarantee and a full refund if we miss. The guarantee applies only to the service, never to the tool.
